Dear colleagues,

We would like to draw your attention to the new project call within the thematic programme Cognitive Sciences of the Vienna Science and Technology Fund (WWTF) – "Cognitive Sciences 2018".

The WWTF “Cognitive Sciences” programme targets excellent research projects adressing the phenomena of cognition (including but not limited to perception, reasoning, thinking, behaviour) from an interdisciplinary perspective.

Call: In total, 3 Mio. € are dedicated to this call. The funding range per project is 200,000 to 600,000 €.

Proposals: Proposals must bring together researchers from two to three different scientific disciplines to address innovative research questions in the field of Cognitive Sciences (incl. Neurosciences) with a project duration of two to four years. For more information on the guidelines please see call fiche.

Two stage call: Short proposals have to be submitted by 2pm, April 12, 2018. Full proposals have to be submitted by 2pm, August 9, 2018.

Proposers’ Day: All interested parties are cordially invited to an open Proposers’ Day on February 27, 2018, starting at 2 pm, at edu4you, Frankgasse 4 (entrance Garnisongasse), 1090 Vienna. Please register online.
