New Staff Member: Valentina Hampejs

22.04.2024

Valentina Hampejs joined the RESONATE team as a predoctoral researcher in March 2024.

After completing both my Bachelor's and Master's degree in Psychology at the University of Vienna, I found myself reluctant to leave. Thus, I applied for a PhD vacancy at the University of Vienna. I am proud to now be part of the EU-Horizon RESONATE research team and the Vienna Cognitive Science Hub, having joined in March 2024. The RESONATE project aims to gather additional evidence demonstrating the positive impact of nature on our health and well-being. I will primarily focus on various methodological aspects of the projects, including scale development related to biopsychosocial resilience, data synthesis, and analysis from three case studies investigating at-risk populations accessing nature to engage in physical activity. I work under the supervision of Mathew White, Martin Voracek, Ulrich Tran, and Sabine Pahl.
